New poll in the sidebar! It refers to this issue right here. I'm not saying anything yet, this is your forum. What do y'all think? |
| Jefe September 25, 2007 11:48 AM PDT Man, now that explains it. A little bit ago, I took the poll -- it was asking if I thought it was time for another poll. I voted yes, of course, but when it brought up the results, it said I'd voted yes on whether the "fuck bush" article was a freedom of speech issue. I thought maybe you were doing a little bait-n-switch on your poll! | ||
| Joe the Troll September 25, 2007 11:58 AM PDT Ahh.... I did notice that you were commenting on the music post at the same time that I was posting this. I guess our timing was right there in synch! How's that for quick service? | ||
| FezMonkey September 25, 2007 01:26 PM PDT Okay, so are the College Republicans demanding a boycott and the resignation because he used a dirty word, or because he expressed what 70% (give or take) of the American public currently feel about our idiot boy-king? I mean, this article is horribly written. No wonder Americans are so uninformed. Ook ook | ||
| Tim September 25, 2007 04:47 PM PDT I'll say it, too! FUCK BUSH! | ||
| Eden September 25, 2007 05:26 PM PDT It was the editorial page. That's where opinion belongs in the newspaper. I think this is 100% covered by free speech and I think any advertiser has the right to pull its advertising dollar away for whatever reason its owners see fit. More shocking: people still read newspapers. | ||
| Joe the Troll September 25, 2007 05:42 PM PDT "More shocking: people still read newspapers." Well, college age idealism and all...... | ||
| Tim September 26, 2007 09:17 PM PDT I'll also say this: Take down you "as of June 15th I've been waiting for Mark..." He is a PUSSY! Ignore him. | ||
| Joe the Troll September 26, 2007 10:38 PM PDT I'll say this - suggestions like that are more politely made via e-mail. But I'll think about it. | ||
